An offering to the Divine Feminine, no matter your gender. This mini retreat day is catered to and designed to allow each of us to open and unfold into the realms that are of the Divine Feminine, with focus upon worthiness, ease, trust of intuition, allowance and acceptance.
This retreat is the fruit of a meeting where we three women came together to plan and cultivate a divine offering for our community. We had no idea how this workshop would look or unfold and this was our first meeting to begin to discuss it. Within that first meeting, so much healing happened between the three of us: so many tears, sacred rage, laughter, hugs, wisdom…the embodiment of women coming together in community to share and heal each other.
From that moment of communal wisdom and sharing, this retreat unfolded for us. It came to us and we all knew immediately how necessary it is to offer this to women in our community, and all who wish to cultivate and dive into their wily, wild feminine (That means you men are welcome as well!).
The three of us will lead a heart opening, sunrise beach meditation beginning at 6am. Diana Andrews will begin to share her healing sounds here and throughout the morning as we move from meditation to Yoga and movement therapy.
Nicole will offer warm lemon water after meditation to turn on your digestion and rouse your spirit as we begin to segue into our movement portion.
Lee Yen, Licensed Spiritual Healer and lover of sacred plants, will lead a Scentsible Yoga practice from 7am- 8:30am, adding in essential oils that complement and aid us as we bring forth the Yin energies from within as Diana continues to stir our hearts and consciousness with her singing bowls. Movement and sound help us bring up the deep wounds of the feminine, personally and culturally, to be felt completely and processed.
After movement we will come together collectively and feast on food that Chef Nicole has made; Ayurvedically balanced and designed to not only aid digestion, but bring forth cooling and peace to the body. Part of leaning into the feminine is enjoying pleasure and time spent in community. We will utilize this time to eat and enjoy, discuss our experiences from the morning and from life in general; to share and heal each other over beautiful, simple ingredients.
***Some reminders: All of who you are is welcome in this space. That means laughter, tears, anger, resentment, pain—nothing has to be dialed down or repressed. We want you to take care of yourself and your emotional/physical needs in each moment so please feel free to step out of the space or take a breather if anything gets overwhelming or if you feel triggered. You can also ask for support and help as that is what this is all about. We are holding this container for these very things to come up and out, to be felt and processed.
All of these are designed to balance and reduce pitta in the body since we are in the hottest part of our summer here.
